Blake Shelton and Gwen Sebastian look to have a hit on their hands. Their duet “My Eyes” was the song with the most adds to country radio this week. According to Mediabase, the song was added to 12 radio stations and gained 216 spins.

“My Eyes” is the fifth single from Blake Shelton’s Platinum-selling album “Based On A True Story...” His pairing with Gwen Sebastian is a testament to his commitment to take under his wing the contestants from Team Blake on “The Voice.”

Gwen Sebastian was a contestant on Season 2 of “The Voice,” but she never advanced to the live shows. Though Blake Shelton liked Gwen’s sound and performance in the Battle Round, he chose to advance Erin Willett. Erin Willett went on to become a finalist, finishing in second place behind Jermaine Paul.

Though Gwen Sebastian didn’t continue on “The Voice,” the show did open many doors for her. The country singer opened for Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley’s “Locked and Reloaded Tour,” played the Grand Ole Opry, and has also played several shows with Blake Shelton including the 49th annual ACM Awards on April 6.

“My Eyes” hasn’t found its way to Billboard’s top 30 yet, but with so many radio stations now spinning the song, it’s likely to gain traction in he coming weeks.
