Blake Shelton is a coach on "The Voice" and he obviously is expected to be there for all of the live shows. On Oct. 5, Taste of Country reported that Blake did not want to miss the CMA Awards due to a live show for "The Voice." So he did what anyone would do and cried, begged, and got his way.
Honestly Blake just went to the show and explained his situation. He is nominated for five awards and Blake also usually performs on the show. He teased that to convince them to move the show it was the same as when a girl cries to get out of a speeding ticket.
He talked to NBC’s Bob Greenblat and explained the situation. They agreed with him and have moved "The Voice" episode that will be live so that he won't have to miss it. The CMA Awards will air on Nov. 6 and Blake Shelton will be there for the show. This is one awards show you won't want to miss. Please like my Facebook to stay up to date on the latest news.
