Blake Shelton's anniversary surprise for his wife Miranda Lambert will surely be a bit hit. Blake and Miranda have now been married for three years, and he came up with a sweet but slightly delayed gift for his wife. Us Weekly shared the details on Thursday.

The Voice” mentor says that he knows his wife is going to be wiped out after pushing through the schedule she's had lately, so he wanted to give her the opportunity to relax during some down time. He drove to Lake Texoma where they have a boat and he poured some blood, sweat and tears into getting it running.

It sounds like Blake Shelton's anniversary surprise will be just what Miranda Lambert needed. Shelton said that he knows once she got her album launch and CMA Fest done “she's gonna want to do something like that—just go and float around and drink and get pulled on the tube or something.” Blake even said he's proud of himself for getting the boat work done, as he's not typically the guy who gets the mechanical stuff handled it seems.

It does sound as if Lambert will be pretty tickled with Blake Shelton's anniversary surprise. JRN shared just before the couple's third anniversary that Miranda said she should ask for a saddle, and she got Blake a wallet from the Kentucky Derby. She added, though, that with their hectic schedules “our gift to each other is usually time.” Miranda added that she didn't think they'd do anything big to celebrate, “just spend time together.”

Unfortunately Blake and Miranda are constantly dealing with rumors swirling of drinking, cheating, divorce and the like. However, they certainly are proving the naysayers wrong so far. From the sounds of what Miranda Lambert said just ahead of the big milestone, Blake Shelton's anniversary surprise is indeed exactly what she will love to get the most from her honey.
