Blake Lively has had to file for a restraining order against a fan that apparently was getting too close. According to TMZ, the fan, named Sergei Mifle, was claiming to have a “metaphysical” connection with Lively and was hanging around the set of “Gossip Girl” in order to see her. Mifle is a bit actor himself, possibly feeling that this was how he had a connection with Lively in the first place.
This is not a good situation for Lively and it’s good that she was successful in getting this restraining order. Mifle is alleged to have even made contact with Lively’s mother (Elaine Lively), raising the level of creepiness of the whole situation. The contact with her mom seems like something to worry about by itself, let alone the comments he made about being concerned that the younger Lively needed help.
Lively is on the set of “Gossip Girl” to finish shooting of the 2011-12 season and the 2012 season finale. The show just aired episode No. 100, proving that the CW hit still has legs as it heads toward the end of yet another drama-filled season. Hopefully Lively can keep that drama restricted to what is in the script though, because Mifle sounds like a dangerous fan to have around.
