The 2013 LCFL West Champions Inglewood Blackhawks professional football team continued to build a solid championship roster early in the 2014 season and yesterday got another solid boost to their team roster when they signed former New Mexico State and Arizona Cardinal defensive back Donyae Coleman to the team.

Coleman recently as two weeks ago finished up his very successful infoor football season in the Independent Football League, playing with the Tri-City Fever where he was one of the top players on the 2013 team.

Prior to going to the Arizona Cardinals after the 2012 draft as a free agent. Coleman had been selected All-WAC Conference First Team in 2011 and 2012 playing for New Mexico State.

He also led the Aggies in tackles with 133 while leading the team and league with 6 interceptions. He also led the league with 3 fumble recoveries while tallying up seven pass break-ups and three forced fumbles. Coleman also had 7 double digit games with tackles which was huge in the decision making of the Arizona Cardinals selecting him as a free agent.

Inglewood Blackhawks owner Tony Reid told Examiner.com "If Donyea can come in and play as he just did with the Tri-City Fever, we could be very, very dangerous team."

According to the Blackhawks front office, Mr. Coleman should be ready for the teams big game against the PCFL league champions from Northern California the South Beach Outlaws on Saturday August 9th.

Tickets to that game, as well as the rest of the season, are still available. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. (PDT) at Jackie Robinson Stadium, 5001 Rodea Road. For more information about the Inglewood Blackhawks as well as the LCFL visit Blackhawksfootball.com
