The Z30 is the largest BlackBerry smartphone to date, with a 5.0" Super AMOLED display that matches the screen-size of the wildly popular Samsung Galaxy S4.
The new device will run the BlackBerry 10.2 operating system and sport a 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, an 8 megapixel camera, and a beefy 2880 mAh battery.
The Z30 will be available at Canadian mobile shops TELUS, MTS, Sasktel, Best Buy, and Futureshop. No word yet on a price for the Z30, though it has been rumored that the phone will cost between $600-$650 without a carrier contract.
Release dates for the U.S. and other territories are expected to be announced shortly, and the phone is slated to be available worldwide before the holiday shopping season kicks into full gear.
