Last week was the international launch event for BlackBerry 10, and yours truly was front and center in New York City as a member of BlackBerry's VIP Elite program. One of the many perks of being BlackBerry Elite was taking a tour of New York after the event and completing a sort of scavenger hunt using my brand new Z10.
First on the list of tasks was heading over to Katz's Deli. We sat down with other BlackBerry fans and a few executives and chatted about the many apps that would be available in BlackBerry World.
After that we bolted over to the iconic Charging Bull sculpture and used Time Shift to capture the perfect in air shot.
Next on the list was going to Pier 17 to film a short video about BlackBerry 10 using Story Maker. You'll spot a short snippet of my team's video at the 1:09 mark in the clip above.
Lastly, we found ourselves at The Tippler where I was able to meet BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins and CMO Frank Boulben. I was pretty star struck as I shook their hands, and as you can tell from the photo, they're both considerably taller than I.
Check out Inside BlackBerry for more footage from the BlackBerry Elite Tour, and as always, drop me a comment below with your thoughts!
