Designer Giorgio Armani presented a most stunning black and white Emporio Armani Fall 2014 collection for Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2014 on February 21, 2014 in Milan, Italy.
This incredibly chic Menswear-inspired offering from Armani embraces traditionally masculine elements in its detailing such as tailored pantsuits, gaucho pants, neckties and oxford shoes, to which he adds feminine charm in the way of elegant LBDs (little black dress), pinafores, extra-wide palazzo style pants, pretty pointed pumps and punches of bright color such as mint green.
A touch of whimsy is added by accessorizing with add-on collar-and-necktie edged with white dots, even necktie necklaces and oversized felt hats that are reminiscent of cloches from the 1920s and 1930s.
The predominantly black and white color palette has room for shades of grey from pearl to charcoal as well as mint and jade green for a hint of color.
Particularly noteworthy are Emporio Armani’s black, white and jade green herringbone patterned coat, the black and white spotted palazzos with matching shoes and crossbody bag, the scoop-necked LBD with peplum and the plush grey, white and green fur coat.
Armani keeps things simple yet this is undoubtedly a very elegant and infinitely wearable autumn/winter collection from Giorgio Armani for his Emporio Armani line with something for all tastes. Enjoy the slideshow and video…
