A Western Michigan PhD candidate and fellow Muslim requests the help of the community in providing data for his psychology research. The project title of his proposed work is Personality and Religiosity: The Influence of Normative Personality on Black Sunni Muslim Religious Attitudes and Practice
The purpose of this research project is to understand the influence personality, gender, and socioeconomic status have upon religious attitudes and practices. The approximate number of participants involved in this project is 325 African American Muslims Your participation in this study will require completing five questionnaires. The procedure includes reading the questions provided on the questionnaires and indicating your response in the spaces provided on the questionnaires. The information obtained from you will be kept confidential.
The information obtained may be used for scientific purposes without identifying you. Any significant new findings will be provided to you following the course of the study upon request.
You are free to withdraw from the project anytime without penalty. We do not expect any unusual risks as a direct result of this project. If you have any questions, you may contact me. My contact information is below.
