Local publishing house, Black Scorpion Electronic Publishing, is pleased to hear that Google has plans to start selling digital books through a new service called Google Edition. It seems that plans are underway for the unveiling of this service later this summer, probably in late June or July.
Google, the giant search engine, is going into direct competition with Amazon and Barnes and Noble, just to name a few. This announcement was made in New York at a publishing industry panel meeting to discuss the future plans for expansion.
Digital books will be accessible on any device though a compatible web browser. Because these editions will work through the browser, several devices will be able to use those including desktop computers, smart phones, and ipads. This is a great opportunity for bookstores and the internet to work together.
Black Scorpion Electronic Publishing is thrilled with this announcement as they are a truly digital publishing house and feel that anything that is published “Green” deserves to have special recognition. This planet we all live on needs our help and so do future generations and this is but one example of a monster-sized corporation making a difference somewhere it matters.

Great news for new technology. I still prefer the paper book. Already spend enough time looking a a screen during the course of the day. The old fashion book is less of a strain on the eyes, at least for me. Lots of people like all the new gadgets these days, and that's okay too.
I am wondering about copyright violation though
