Black Sabbath has added another entry in their series of posted handwritten lyrics used in the creation of their 2013 Grammy nominated comeback album "13."
Posting to their official Facebook page on Jan. 8, the British metal legends unveiled the lyrics to "Damaged Soul," a slow-burning, riff-laden, lost soul lament, penned by Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler with music composed by Butler, guitarist Tony Iommi and frontman Ozzy Osbourne.
The "Paranoid" hitmakers previously posted hand-written lyrics for the album tracks "Dear Father, "Pariah," "Peace Of Mind", "Live Forever", as well as the album singles "End Of The Beginning", "Age Of Reason" and "God Is Dead?"
Fans can view the lyric sheets at Black Sabbath's official Facebook page.
"13" has been nominated for three 2014 Grammy nominations including: Best Rock Album, as well as Best Rock Song and Best Metal Performance for “God Is Dead?”
A new live set titled "Gathered in their Masses" hit shelves in November.
The reunited lineup, featuring founding members Osbourne, Iommi and Butler, will kick off a 10-city tour of Canada on April 3 in Halifax, NS at Metro Centre.
