Black Sabbath has unveiled another entry in a series of handwritten lyrics used in the creation of their 2013 Grammy nominated comeback album "13."
Posting to their official Facebook page on Jan. 11, the British metal legends added the lyrics to "Zeitgeist," a dark acoustic ballad, penned by Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler with music composed by Butler, guitarist Tony Iommi and frontman Ozzy Osbourne.
The "Paranoid" hitmakers previously posted hand-written lyrics for the album tracks: "Damaged Soul," "Dear Father, "Pariah," "Peace Of Mind", "Live Forever", as well as the album singles "End Of The Beginning", "Age Of Reason" and "God Is Dead?"
The project was recently nominated for three 2014 Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album (“13”), and Best Rock Song and Best Metal Performance for “God Is Dead?”
The 2014 Grammy Awards will be held Jan. 26 in Los Angeles at Staples Center.
A new live set titled "Gathered in their Masses" hit shelves in November.
The reunited lineup, featuring founding members Osbourne, Iommi and Butler, will kick off a 10-city tour of Canada on April 3 in Halifax, NS at Metro Centre.
