David Vonderhaar has provided a brief explanation on Jan. 29 in regards to the effect the Revolution DLC has on playlists for the Xbox 360 version of the multiplatform title, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.” The game design director at Treyarch revealed on his Twitter page that the new downloadable content maps have been placed on every playlist location. Furthermore, they have also created a temporary rotation featuring just the four from the expansion. You can check out some screens of the Revolution DLC in the slideshow at the top of this article and the complete comments from David Vonderhaar below (courtesy of the DavidVonderhaar Twitter):
The Revolution maps are in every playlist rotation with the shipping maps, in addition to the new Revolution only category. The Revolution-only category is for folks who JUST want to play the new maps and will be offered for a limited time. We traditionally run a Map pack-only category for about 3-4 weeks. Cheers.
The Revolution DLC is now available for the Xbox 360 version of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” as a timed exclusive. The downloadable content expansion comes with a new weapon, zombies map, zombies mode in addition to the aforementioned multilayer maps.
Activision released “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” late last year for multiple systems, including the Xbox 360 console. You can order the game in the following link: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2”
