Speaking of the competitive multiplayer portion of “Black Ops 2,” there are currently a number of glitches and hacks that allow players to reach the master prestige rank. In recent times, this issue has seen a rise as many players are now running around with their profiles at max prestige, without putting in the intended effort.
In response to this, a fan reached out to David Vonderhaar on Jan. 2 to see what Treyarch intends to do to players that have been using these glitches and hacks. Responding to this inquiry, Vonderhaar has confirmed that all players that use master prestige hacks have a 100 percent chance of getting their stats reset.
In addition to a stat reset, these players will more than likely receive some type of temporary ban from the game. So, for those of you that have been wondering if these types of actions will be punished, you can now rest assured that they will be addressed.
