Activision today announced the Top 8 teams from the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” Xbox Live Championship Series of League Play who will represent the United States as they move on to participate in the “Call of Duty” Championship this spring for a chance to win a $1 million cash purse.
The eight teams weren’t merely chosen by who had to most ranking points but other factors were considered as well, such as their win/loss ratio. The competitors for the “Call of Duty” Championship from other countries are still being determined, but the eight United States teams which will get the chance to win a million dollars by playing “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” are now decided.
The “Call of Duty” Championship will happen in Hollywood this April 5. The tournament is sponsored by Xbox 360 and hopes to determine the best “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” players in the world by offering a $1 million top prize. Check out the list of chosen teams on the "Call of Duty" Elite site.
