With the release of the first downloadable content package for “Black Ops 2” approaching, which has a release date set for Jan. 29 on the Xbox 360, Treyarch has decided to promote this event with a double XP weekend. As previously announced, this double XP event begins today, and will be running through Monday, Jan. 28.
With the Revolution Map Pack for “Black Ops 2” coming next week, this event will provide players the prime opportunity to progress through the ranking system that is in place in the multiplayer portion of this game before this content is released. As previous double XP events have done in the past, this event will take place on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and the Wii U.
Through the competitive multiplayer portion of “Black Ops 2,” players will gain twice the amount of experience points for each action within this portion of the game that grants experience points.
