Black Lips announce spring 2014 North American tour dates

On Jan. 6 the American rock band Black Lips announced headlining tour dates on their official Facebook page for the spring of 2014. The North American tour begins March 20 in Pioneertown, Calif., and ends May 4 in Austin. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.

During the Black Lips' spring of 2014 headlining tour the band will perform 32 concerts around the U.S. and Canada over a month and a half long time span. Some of those dates includes the band's performances at the Austin Psych Fest.

They will be touring in support of their upcoming studio album, "Underneath the Rainbow" which is set to be released on March 18. It will be the first full length studio album the band has released since "Arabia Mountain" in 2011. The first song released from the album is "Boys in the Wood" which you can listen to here.

Tickets go on sale for most tour dates beginning Jan. 10. The Coathangers will open March 20 through April 5, and Natural Child will open April 14 through April 30. For more information about the Black Lips' spring of 2014 headlining tour visit the band's official website here.
