Black history videos for your children or students (Video)

Black History reminds everyone on how important it is to educate America about the history of slavery to freedom. Videos have a wealth of knowledge about black history in America. They are entertaining and can suppliment any other activity.

There are all types of videos that target different age groups. Videos range from non-fiction, narrative to cartoons and fiction based on true stories. You can show videos that are biographies on historical leaders or that cover a certain event in history such as the underground railroad, civil war, segregation, slavery ect.

Children have a blank drawing board that can be filled with knowledge. Even if they have heard of a particular subject or person before, hearing it doing a different activity will only strengthen their knowledge. And they always learn something they hadn't paid attention to before.
