Black Friday means rare deals on new Apple iPods and Mac computers

For Canadian consumers in the market for Apple products, this weekend may be the best time of the year to purchase a Mac computer or Apple iPod.

Not only is the Canadian dollar nearly at par with the US dollar but also this Thursday is Thanksgiving in the US which of course is followed by the busiest shopping day of the year: Black Friday.

With Black Friday only a few days away, Apple resellers south of the border are now busy advertising very rare savings on various Apple products such as iPods, MacBook Pro laptops and iMac desktop computers.

Apple iPods and computers marked down for Black Friday

For example, electronics giant Best Buy is offering hundreds of dollars in savings on selected MacBook Pro laptop models. Whereas participating Target stores are offering $15-$30 gift cards with the purchase of select iPod models. Not to be out done, Walmart is offering the iPod touch For $195 with a $50 iTunes gift card.
