Black Friday Deals as Sweet as a Black Diamond Run

The best time of year is upon us. It is a time when families gather together for fantastic dinners, football games, and above all else holiday shopping. For most of us out there this last item can seem dreadful, almost like hitting your first double black diamond run for the first time. Along with the great deals that come with the holidays comes a very special day in which the deals are sweetened even more...Black Friday.
Many families use this day to get as much of their holiday shopping done as possible. However, without proper guidance or tip offs this day can be a nightmare. I am going to lighten the headaches by giving some personal tips as to where the best shopping can be found for any kind of snowboard equipment.

When shopping for the latest and greatest snowboarding gear, keep in mind that there are many many stores out there that offer equipment for low prices. For bindings I would recommend checking out Colorado Ski and Golf. This professional shop has a wide variety of bindings for all riders. One of the more common bindings brands out there today would be the Burton Cartels. This hot “flashy” binding can be found on sale for $219 dollars at Ski and Golf. However, each store usually offers their last year models for a more suitable price. As I was walking through the Ski and Golf in Arvada I found a last year pair for only $139. The prices can change with each store, so I would recommend calling your most local Ski and Golf ahead of time for prices.

For those who are interested in purchasing their first set ups can find amazing deals at Big 5 Sporting Goods. This store offers a large variety of name brands such as Morrow, Lamar, Kemper, and Triple Nickel. For this Friday, Nov. 27 from 5:30 am until 4 pm Big 5 is putting their Lamar “Legacy Wide” snowboard on sale for only $119. I have yet to find any other store that can match this deal. For their beginner bindings and boots Lamar brands are going on the early bird special for only $69. Keep in mind that all these hot priced items will sell fast so call your local Big 5 in advance to see if your sizes are available.

So there is no need to see this upcoming Friday as a headache causing nightmare. These two stores are guaranteed to have everything you need for the mountains this year. So kick back and enjoy watching the football game or the parade, for you now have a head start for your shopping agenda.
