Black Friday is still more than a month away but that is not stopping anyone from their shopping preparations. On October 17, BFads.net listed the first of the Black Friday ads. Macy's was the first this season to have their sale papers for this event become available.
Macy's will be holding their Black Friday sales starting on the evening of Thanksgiving. They will have the normal Friday sales and then have more items for sale on Saturday morning. The ads for Sears, Harbor Freight and part of the Lowe's ad have also been made available. Additionally, Wal-Mart has announced that they will be having the biggest Black Friday event ever.
As has been the recent trend, Black Friday sales are expected to start in many stores on Thanksgiving evening. This is unfortunate, as it rushes family functions and doesn't allow people a chance to rest. Many of the online Black Friday sales are expected to start on Thanksgiving morning and others may even start the Wednesday before. As has happened in recent years, in addition to online Black Friday sales, retailers are also expected to hold online Cyber Monday sales on the Monday following Thanksgiving.
