Black Friday 2013 predictions are everywhere even though nobody has a crystal ball. Despite that, these predictions for 2013 Black Friday sales may very well be true because most of the time retailers are somewhat predictable, and they have a tough time keeping their plans for this holiday shopping day under wraps. It seems that Christmas is coming earlier and earlier to retailers.
According to an Oct. 1 Business Wire report, there are plenty of predictions for upcoming Black Friday sales. First of all, it's likely these sales will actually start on Thanksgiving Day like they have the past couple of years. The predictions are based on analyzing previous years' sales data. So far, you can expect to find free shipping and between 10 and 20 percent off of Apple products depending on if you buy them from Apple or a re-seller.
One of the hardest to deal with predictions is that there will likely be no discounts on either the Xbox One or the new PS4 gaming consoles. These are available for pre-order right now and will still be quite new during the 2013 holiday shopping season, so do not expect any big discounts or deals on Black Friday 2013. However, the previous versions of these consoles will very likely see nice discounts during Black Friday 2013 and Cyber Monday 2013. You can expect between 30 and 40 percent off these previous generation consoles, and previous generation new releases are expected to be up to 50 percent off, which will be a nice savings, and worth waiting for.
TVs will be deeply discounted on Black Friday 2013 especially during doorbuster sales. You can expect to find a 47-inch HDTV for $269 early on the day after Thanksgiving (or on Turkey Day itself). Meanwhile, if you want a 55-inch 3D HDTV, you can expect to find one for $425. Finally, for those who want the 60-inch plasma TV, they will be available and multiple retailers for around $529.
Most popular toys are expected to be discounted up to 50 percent, which will help you stick to your holiday shopping budget while still getting the stuff on your kids's lists. Retailers are starting these holiday sales earlier and earlier, so be sure you keep an eye out for deals on the things you want or need in these weeks leading up to Black Friday 2013 because there probably will be some. If you are careful, you can stretch your holiday shopping budget even further. There are sure to be plenty of sales and deals in the upcoming weeks and months.
