The first of the Black Friday 2013 leaked ads has arrived online, about a month and a half ahead of the actual shopping day. The Black Friday date this year is Nov. 29, but that doesn't mean sales deals don't find their way online early. Such is the case with the Harbor Freight Black Friday ad, which has leaked online, and is on display at a reputable holiday website.
According to Daily Press on Oct. 15, Harbor Freight's full ad scan was posted online at BlackFriday.fm. The front of the flyer advertises a "3 Day Black Friday Sale" from the Harbor Freight Tools retail outfit. The store advertises a Friday opening time of 7 a.m. with "Red Hot Buys" but mentions towards the bottom of one page that "Inside Track Club members get in at 6 a.m." Among the major sales and deals the store shows in their ad are a 105-piece tool set with four-drawer chest for $36.79, and a $60 multi-function tools set for just $14.99. Other potential items of interest are a 45 Watt Solar Panel Kit for $133, and a 800 watt/2 horsepower gas generator for just $88.
Another early Black Friday 2013 ad leak appears to have started from the Macy's retailer. Daily Press notes that they've leaked deals on Pinterest to give customers an early look at some of the sales and deals they will have. Among those they are previewing are an assortment of $9.99 kitchen gadgets, $19.99 boots, a five-piece luggage set for $49.99, and discounted prices on Black and Decker coffee makers or toaster ovens. Macy's recently made headlines when they announced they'll open at 8 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day. See the Macy's Pinterest deals preview for more of their upcoming Black Friday sale.
It's expected that other retailers will see their ads leaked online ahead of Black Friday, with some predictions claiming Walmart's ad will be leaked by the company itself about two weeks ahead of the shopping day. It's possible it could be leaked earlier, but that seems to be the consensus right now, with ads from Target, Best Buy, Toys R Us and more, also among the most sought-after leaked ads.
