Tuesday, as many Americans put Halloween behind them they began to think about Thanksgiving and Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year; the term Black Friday 2011 has created a buzz Wednesday morning online. Typically, many retailers begin to leak some of their black Friday sales items shortly after Halloween and many people around the US want to know what they can expect.
Black Froday is the day after Thanksgiving and it is the biggest retail shopping day of the year as people begin to buy Christmas presents, and many stores offer low prices on select items and call them “doorbusters” to help get customers in the door early. Some stores (and malls) stay open all night long, or open at 12 am, while some stores open at 4 am or 5 am on black Friday morning.
TheBlackFriday.com website includes early deals posted online from major retailers around the country. Walmart, Target, Khol’s, and Sears have already posted a few things they intend to have on sale during Black Friday.
