Black Flag returns with new frontman and new album

Though Black Flag reunited last year with former lead singer Ron Reyes, things didn't work out the way they planned. But Greg Ginn is back with pro skateboarder Mike Vallely in the frontman spot and the two promise bigger and better things from the band. The news was revealed in a recent Rolling Stone interview with Vallely. Speaking about the state of the band in 2013 he says “We feel that, generally, the band fell short in 2013 because of a difference in the philosophies of Ron and Greg — it just led to dysfunction… It could have been better. [Black Flag] can be a stronger, more cohesive, tighter band. We want to prove that.”

The new singer claims the band is recording new music and are planning a tour. They have to have tour dates begin in May of this year. To learn more about the new incarnation of Black Flag, visit their official website.
