Black conservative explains switch to GOP: 'I was lied to for so many years'

Wayne Dupree was not always a conservative activist. In fact, for a "long, long, long time," the man known to his fans as the "News Ninja" voted Democrat and believed the narrative espoused by the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and their ilk.

In his latest video, Dupree explained that he once believed that the "white man was keeping us down and we need to do something," but once he realized the historical and contemporary truth about the Democratic party, he was angered.

Dupree told the Examiner that his revelation about the Democrat party came when he observed the mainstream media portraying the Clintons as racist during the 2008 presidential campaign, as discussed in this CBS article.

At the time, Obama's chief strategist, David Axelrod, all but called Hillary Clinton a racist, and accused her of "trying to send a signal to her supporters" about then-candidate Barack Obama's skin color. Dupree also cited comments made by Bill Clinton that were twisted by the mainstream media as discussed at the New York Times.

Dupree came to the realization that race was merely being used as a tool. How insulting to black Americans and all Americans!

In fact, Dupree said that he was "livid" that he had been lied to by the Democrats "for so many years" and he made the decision to make it his mission to tell people the truth about the Democrat party.

Dupree noted that the Democrats often try to distort their racist history by claiming that the parties switched. But they are inconsistent with this assertion, as they still hail progressives such as Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Both of these presidents have a history of shunning and demeaning black Americans... a history which has been largely scrubbed from the public square, as discussed at Tavern Keepers.

Dupree said, "It's okay to leave...the Democrat party." He said that he is not trying to influence people to become Republicans, but he wants people to know the truth about history. Dupree considers himself to be a "Constitutional Conservative."

He said,

"All I can give you is the truth, and that's what I am going to do."

Dupree faces racist comments daily by the radical left, who often refer to him as a "token" and worse. Instead of loudly denouncing offensive and racist attacks on black conservatives, they go ignored by those same people who preach "tolerance."

An example of once such disgusting attack came this week on Twitter. Why is it that these attacks are not discussed in the mainstream media?
