Columbus gluten-free residents are in luck - BJ's Brewhouse not only has a great gluten-free menu, but that menu includes gluten-free pizza! The menu also includes various salads, giant stuffed potatoes, soups & entrees. In the mood for an ice cold beer? BJ's serves Redbridge and has a nice wine and non-alcoholic beverage menu, too.
The pizza at BJ's is one of the best gluten-free pizzas in the Columbus area. Z Pizza, Boston's Gourmet Pizza and Uno Chicago Grill are other restaurants currently serving gluten-free pizza in the Columbus area. Mellow Mushroom is serving gluten-free pizza in their test market areas, unfortunately, Columbus is not one of those places. The BJ's gluten-free crust is thin, similar to a flatbread, and has just the right combination of crispy & chewy. There is no crumbling crust here, folks. All toppings, with the exception of the meatballs, are gluten-free, so be prepared to create your own gourmet delight!
If pizza isn't your thing, try out one of the huge salads, topped with grilled chicken or blackened salmon, or giant stuffed potatoes. They are the size of a Nerf football, so make sure to bring your appetite.
BJ's Brewhouse is located on Polaris Parkway, right in front of the Polaris Fashion Place. Be prepared to get to BJ's early or wait for a bit - they really seem to drum up a good business. This location does have call ahead waiting, so give them at call at 614.885.1800 to put your name on the list before heading out.
