Bizarre reasons why Chris Brown and Drake may have ended their feud (Photos)

When music stars Drake and Chris Brown got into a heated scuffle this past June, it seemed highly unlikely that any type of reconciliation would be taking place anytime soon.

So bad was the reported feud, that rumors surfaced of a possible boxing event that was going to be staged pitting Drake and Brown against one another. Even Las Vegas-based trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. got into the thick of things, claiming that he would be open to training either man.

According to a report from MediaTakeOut.com on Saturday, Jan. 11, it appears the grudge between the two artists is now a thing of the past. There are even talks that Drake and Brown have collaborated on a track together, one that will possibly be launched in the coming days.

As far as why the truce took place, it appears that star rapper Lil Wayne was behind things.

MediaTakeOut.com’s report claims that Brown’s recent “Carpe Diem” tour was far from a financial success, and the aftermath left him in debt to prominent promoter Al Haymon.

In order to pay off his debt to Haymon, Brown reportedly begged Lil Wayne to become a part of his latest tour.

According to an insider, Lil Wayne was open to the idea, but on one condition.

“Wayne agreed to put him on tour if [Chris] and Drake squash the beef and make music together,” claimed the source.

Chris was down for the idea, and don’t be surprised if you see him as the opening act for Lil Wayne’s forthcoming production.
