Cosmic humor has me laughing again. In yesterday's article, I mentioned that I had heard my name mentioned in a clip from the movie "Conspiracy Theory." It was most bizarre and unexplainable to me. I listened at least 10 times and could only hear Mel Gibson saying Fred Burks. That's what two of my housemates and my sweetie heard, too, when I had them listen with no prompting as to what they were going to hear.
Yet when someone emailed and wrote that it was Fred Mertz, of the "I Love Lucy" show, I went and listened again. Sure enough, it is Fred Mertz and not Fred Burks. I had to be reminded of who Fred Mertz was, but that explains it.
I just wanted to let any regular readers of my material know this one is now solved. Sometimes there are simple explanations for things that seem a complete mystery. Thanks for those who set me straight on this. Enjoy!
