When it comes to St. Patrick's Day celebrations, every one is a little bit Irish during the March holiday. Bites Asian Tapas is getting into the green festive spirit March 14 through 17. This Asian fusion, small plates restaurant is adding its unique spin on the Irish celebration.
Start the celebration with a creative cocktail. Since green is the color of the celebration, Bites' cocktails Wassup Wasabi or Ms Gardenia martinis are perfect for the night. Other options are specific for the holiday, Shamrock Shaker with Shochu, Kahlua, Amaretto, Milk and Grean Tea Powder a Lucky Buddha Beer, or a Lucky You're Not Irish Bomb, shot of Scotch Whiskey with Lucky Buddha Beer.
Pair one of the cocktails with one of the three special St. Patrick's tapas. The Spinach Cheese Stick with cream cheese, cilantro, green chilies, and water chestnut wrapped in spring roll dough; Avocado Tempura Bun with pickled vegetables, cucumber, avocado tempura, scallion, honey wasabi and teriyaki sauce; or Green Gyoza, edamame, carrot, green pea, potatoes, caramelized whiskey and wasabi cream. Cap off the meal with dessert of Asian Churros served with green tea ice cream.
