Starting this Sunday, Bistro Bordeaux in Evanston will debut their new brunch. This French bistro will be serving up classic French dishes such as Lyonnaise salad, French onion soup and croque madame. You can also expect to see creative French twists on French Toast, crepes, and steak and eggs.
The restaurant will be debuting their signature Bistro Bordeaux Eggs Benedict which is two poached eggs, brioche toast, shaved ham, fines herbs and béarnaise sauce. Bistro Bordeaux will also be serving up an eclectic mix of brunch menu items include pain perdu aux pommes, which is brioche French toast with caramelized apples and Crepes au poulet forestière, which are crepes served with chicken confit, wild mushrooms, béchamel sauce and fried sage. Also look for creative egg dishes such as oeufs au gratin, which are two poached eggs baked with potatoes in a gratin with béchamel and Comté cheese, and a omelette blanche aux fine herbs, which is an egg white omelette with fresh herbs, nutmeg crème fraîche, mashed potatoes and haricots verts salad.
