The Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, will host their annual Open House at Coca Cola Field on downtown Buffalo from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9th. The free event features ballpark tours, free food and beverage and more.
All visitors will receive a free Sahlen’s hot dog and can of Coca Cola when they enter the ballpark. From there, kids 12 and under can participate in a treasure hunt, looking for items throughout the entire ballpark in order to win prizes; there will also be a coloring contest at the Buster’s Kids Club table. The Bisons clubhouse will be open for photos, and visitors can check out the renovations made at Pettibones Grille as well. The Club Level of Coca Cola Field will be open as well, with Bisons memorabilia in the Press Box along with the Voice of the Bisons, Ben Wagner. The Blue Jays suite and the SLR Contracting Media suite will also be open, complete with samples of Flying Bison beer and Barefoot and Bully Hill wines for the 21-and-over crowd.
There will be a sales table set up, where a $5 donation to a Bisons charity will score you a free ticket to the Bisons’ home opener on Thursday, April 4th. The Herd will also be raffling off a pair of Blue Jays tickets, plus new Bisons and Blue Jays merchandise.
