The Buffalo Bisons travel down the Thruway to Syracuse, New York to take on the Syracuse Chiefs three times during the 2014 International League season: Monday and Tuesday, June 9th and 10th; Saturday through Tuesday, June 28th through July 1st; and Sunday and Monday, August 31st and September 1st.
The Chiefs, Triple-A International League affiliate of the Washington Nationals, play their home games at NBT Bank Stadium. Located at 1 Tex Simone Dr. in Syracuse, the stadium opened in 1997 as P&C Stadium and seats just over 11,000 spectators; it was also known as Alliance Bank Stadium from 2005 through the 2012 season.
The Chiefs have been affiliated with the Nationals since 2009; before that, the former Sky Chiefs (through 2006) were the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays (1978 to 2008) and the New York Yankees (1967 to 1977). The team also went through stints as a Single-A and Double-A club.
Single game tickets for NBT Bank Stadium games range in price from $5 to $12. There are also group ticketing options for 25 or more, including pre-game picnics and the Party Patio.
More information on the Syracuse Chiefs and NBT Bank Stadium, including ticket information and promotional schedules, can be found at the Chiefs’ website.
