The Buffalo Bisons head to Moosic, Pennsylvania, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (known as the Yankees prior to the 2013 International League season), three times this summer: Tuesday through Friday, April 22nd through 25th; Friday and Saturday, July 4th and 5th; and Wednesday and Thursday, August 27th and 28th.
The RailRiders, Triple-A affiliate of the 27-time World Series champion New York Yankees, play their home games at PNC Field, located at 235 Montage Mountain Rd. in Moosic. The former Lackawanna County Stadium underwent a $43 million renovation project in 2012. The stadium seats over 10,000 for baseball.
Formerly known as the Red Barons (1989 through 2006) when affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies, the Yankees signed an agreement to be the Yankees farm team in 2007. In existence since 1919, the team has also been affiliated with the Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Pittsburgh Pirates, the Philadelphia/Kansas City Athletics and the New York Giants; from 1919 to 1936, it was an independent team.
Single game tickets at PNC Field are $12 for Infield Box and Bud Light Railhouse Bar seating, $10 for Field Reserved seating, $8 for bleacher seating and $7 for lawn seating (plus taxes and fees). Find out more about the RailRiders at their website.
