The Buffalo Bisons head to Allentown, Pennsylvania to take on the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs three times during the 2014 International League season: Friday through Monday, April 7th through 9th; Monday and Tuesday, July 21st and 22nd; and Friday through Sunday, August through 17th.
The Iron Pigs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, play their home games at Coca Cola Park, which opened in 2008. Located at 1050 Iron Pigs Way in Allentown, the stadium seats approximately 8,200 spectators; its capacity is over 10,000 spectators, with nearly 2,000 additional spots available on the center field berm.
The Iron Pigs name is a reference to Allentown’s reputation in steel manufacturing. The team was based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada from 1993 to 2007, and was known as the Lynx; when the team entered their current player development deal with the Phillies, they moved to Allentown when the new stadium was completed.
Single-game tickets for Iron Pigs games range in price from $7 (general admission) to $15 (Club Level, including access to the Club Bar, the stadium’s only full-service bar, and the climate-controlled indoor lounge area). The Iron Ticket is $25 and includes field level seating and concession dollars that can be redeemed for food, beverages, and merchandise. The Hot Corner Ticket is $20 and includes swivel-style seats situated in front of the PPL Picnic Patio plus in-seat food and beverage service and drink rail counters.
