The Buffalo Bisons head to Lawrenceville, Georgia to play the Gwinnett Braves just once during the 2014 Triple-A International League season: the upcoming four-game set Monday through Thursday, May 5th through 8th.
The Braves, Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, play their home games at Coolray Field, located at 2500 Buford Dr. in Lawrenceville. The stadium, opened in 2009, seats more than 10,000 spectators.
The Braves moved from Richmond, Virginia to Gwinnett County, Georgia to begin the 2009 season. As the Richmond Braves, the team had an affiliation with Atlanta dating back to 1966 (who were also the Milwaukee Braves during that time). The team was also affiliated with the Minnesota Twins, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Braves, and Boston Braves.
Coolray Field features a variety of food and beverage items for every taste. Stands include Chopper’s Corner and Top Dog Express (sections 110 – 112), Friends American Grill (section 102), Niekro’s Restaurant (section 105), Georgia 44 (sections 107 – 109), Butch’s All-American BBQ (section 111), Top Your Dog/Burger (section 113), McAlister’s Deli (sections 115 – 117), Edy’s Ice Cream (section 101) and The Berm (center field). No outside food or beverages are allowed inside Coolray Field.
Single-game tickets start at $6 for general admission berm seating, up to $18 for Infield Box seating. Find out more about the Gwinnett Braves and Coolray Field at the Braves’ website.
