The Buffalo Bisons visit Durham, North Carolina to face the Durham Bulls just once during the 2014 Triple-A International League season: the upcoming four-game set Thursday through Sunday, August 7th through 10th.
The Bulls, Triple-A International League affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays since 1998, play their home games at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Located at 409 Blackwell St. in Durham, the stadium opened in 1995 and seats 10,000 spectators. It is also the home stadium of the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Central Eagles college baseball teams.
The Bulls’ affiliation with Tampa Bay coincided with their move from Single-A to Triple-A ball. As a Single-A club, the Bulls were affiliated with the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, Houston Astros and Detroit Tigers.
A full range of concessions are available at the stadium, including Bright Leaf Hot Dogs, Papa John’s Pizza, The Pit and Rita’s Italian Ice; Carolina Brewery will also be offering Bullpen Pale Ale at their stand behind home plate and on the third base side of the stadium.
Single game tickets start at $6.99 (outfield reserved); ticket options are also available which include merchandise/concession credit. Tickets and more information can be found at the Bulls’ website.
