The Clippers play their home games at Huntington Park, located at 330 Huntington Park Ln. in Columbus. The stadium, opened in 2009, seats more than 10,000 spectators. Huntington Park was named Ballpark of the Year in 2009 by baseballparks.com, beating out two new stadiums, New York’s Citi Field and Yankee Stadium.
The Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians since 2009, the Clippers were founded in 1977. In their history they have also been affiliated with the Washington Nationals (2007 to 2008), the New York Yankees (1979 to 2006) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (1977 to 1978). Among the team’s notable alumni are Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Robinson Cano, and Don Mattingly.
Huntington Park offers a variety of foods and beverages at its concession stands, including hamburgers and hot dogs, grilled chicken and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, pizza, paninis, quesadillas and more. Check out the menu and prices here.
Single-game tickets at Huntington Park are available in a variety of price ranges, with no seats more expensive than $20. Find out more information on the Clippers and Huntington Park at the Clippers’ website.
