1B Val Pascucci picked up some of the slack left by Lucas Duda's promotion to the Mets earlier on Friday, but Buffalo's pitching struggled against a well-balanced Indians lineup as the Herd fell 12- on Friday night.

Pascucci went 3-for-5, including a two-run home run and OF Fernando Martinez lifted his average to .294 with a 2-for-4 night at the plate, but the hole left by the pitching staff was simply too big to climb out of.

LHP Mark Cohoon struggled in his third start for the Herd, allowing six earned runs on six hits and three walks over five innings. Normally reliable LHP Mike O'Connor struggled in relief, giving up four earned on six hits in just two innings of work. RHP Dylan Owen then came on to start the ninth and gave up Indy's final two runs of the night.

The Bisons have lost six of their last seven and will host the team with the best record in the International League, the Columbus Clippers, for four games beginning with "Star Wars Night" on Saturday at Coca-Cola Field.
