Bishop working his way back

This weekend at the Deveroes Summer League may have given Cincinnati Bearcats fans a look into the program for next season.

While Mick Cronin hasn’t made an official announcement regarding the status of Rashad Bishop, the fact that he is in Cincinnati and playing in the DSL could mean he will be appearing in the red and black for one last season.

Bishop - who was third on the team in minutes and rebounding, along with being fourth in scoring – was suspended indefinitely and missed all of Cincinnati’s postseason games. Last season was his best season offensively, scoring 8.4 points per game, while shooting 50 percent from the field. He also shot nearly 33 percent from behind the arc.
