Bishop Binzer and Fr. Schnippel to lead 40 Days for Life prayer vigils

7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Mary Clark, Cincinnati 40 Days for Life Campaign Director, invites everyone to join the 40 Days team in asking for God's blessings on the 2013 Spring 40 Days for Life campaign at the Opening Prayer Hour and Candlelight Vigil.

Opening Prayer Hour will be held Tuesday, February 12 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in front of the Planned Parenthood in Mt. Auburn (newer red brick building with black wrought iron fence). Fr. Kyle Schnippel will lead the prayers and give words of encouragement as we prepare to begin the campaign the next day, Ash Wednesday, February 13.

The first weekly Friday Candlelight Vigil will be 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15 in front of the Planned Parenthood in Mt. Auburn. Bishop Joseph Binzer will lead prayers that evening.

Dress warmly and in layers. Parking available on street or at Holy Name Church (2 blocks north of Planned Parenthood).

  • To commit to prayer vigil time in front of a Planned Parenthood or other pregnancy centers (Pregnancy Center List), click on the Vigil Schedule link on the 40 Days for Life Cincinnati Web site. You can of course attend without formally scheduling your time, but it's helping in scheduling other resources if you do post your schedule. The goal is to stand vigil at the Planned Parenthood sites 24/7 during the entire duration of the 40 Days campaign.
  • To pick up materials for distribution or volunteer as your parish's contact for 40 Days for Life, contact Mary Clark via telephone at (513) 791-4039 or email cincy40days@fuse.net.
