Birth Story event to be held in St. Peter

The Deep Valley Birth Collective is hosting a special event for area mothers to share their birth stories.

The event, titled "Birth Stories: A sharing of our experiences in becoming mothers," is for all mothers to come and talk about their journeys into motherhood. This can include hospital births, home births and even adoptions.

Organizers say:

"Birth is a rite of passage of women. Their journey should be honored, their rights should be fiercely protected, and their stories should be shared.” – Marcie Macari

Join us for an evening of birth stories in the beautiful, meditative space of the St. Peter Yoga Studio!

Come to the St Peter Yoga studio to share in the telling of our birth stories. Birth is a powerful experience and sharing our stories can be healing and inspirational. All kinds of birth stories are welcome---from homebirth to hospital, water birth or planned c-section, a recent birth story or one that is several years old.

If you have a story to share, this will be a safe and joyous place to share. You don't have to tell a story; you can come and just listen to the experiences of others. Women who are currently expecting, partners, and birth professionals are welcome to attend!

Everyone is welcome!
