Birmingham organizations collect donations for Haiti earthquake relief efforts

A magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck southern Haiti Tuesday, Jan. 12, devastating the the small, impoverished country. The death toll is estimated in the thousands.

These are just a few of the ways to send immediate relief in the wake of this disaster.

Via text - "HAITI" to "90999" and a donation of $10 will be given to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts.

Add any amount to your grocery total and the money will be donated to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund.
