Come winter time, our birdie friends often have a harder time finding food. We can help! Here is a simple recipe for bird food hangers. This is a great craft to do with your children and grandchildren on a cold winter day.
- First, get our your Christmas cookie cutters. (any will really do)
- Using sliced stale bread, cut out shapes using your cookie cutters.
- Using a straw, poke a hole into each shape. (for hanging)
- Thread yarn, thread or anything you have that you can hang your birdie feeders.
- Spread peanut butter onto your shapes.
- Cover with bird seed.
Allow to dry and then hang outside for the birds!
