What are the details of this event?
This is a family-friendly program that teaches bird enthusiasts how to make their own bird feeder and use binoculars to see how many feathered friends you can find throughout the Trailside Museum and Zoo at Bear Mountain State Park.
Where does it take place?
Bear Mountain State Park, NY; participants will meet at the Walt Whitman Statue just past the Trailside Museum and Zoo entrance.
When does it take place?
Saturday, January 27, 2013 at 1pm
Other important details:
- Be sure to bring a 16 oz., 1 liter, or gallon-sized jug to construct your feeder.
- The parking fee for Bear Mountain State Park is $8. There is no admission fee to enter Trailside Museum and Zoo, however donations are great appreciated.
