Bioware returns ‘classic’ armor looks after unannounced changes

Previously, many months after the armor items were released, Bioware updated some armor sets to match a tiny thumbnail image on the front of the Cartel Packs the armor came in. Since it took many months for this to happen to some pieces of armor, and since there was no public announcement made about the changes being forthcoming, many who purchased the items based on how they originally looked - some using real world money to get these items - were blindsided by the change and left with armor they no longer liked the look of.

In order to correct this, Bioware is, as of today, February 12, sending a ‘classic’ piece of the armor to anyone that had the armor piece prior to the change. This armor will arrive through the ingame mail or in the equipment lockbox where you originally obtained the item.

The sets that were affected by the unannounced changes were: the Spymaster set, Conservator’s set, Phantom set, Despot’s set, Preceptor’s set and the Trailblazer set. So if you were previously wearing the sleek, black Phantom jacket and suddenly found yourself wearing a puffy collared inquisitor’s robe top, there is hope. You’ll now be receiving your slick, black jacket in the mail to complete your preferred look.

The only armor that was changed and does not appear to have a 'classic' look being returned to the players is the Revan robe.
