BioShock Trilogy on sale this weekend on Steam

If you're still saddened by the closing of Irrational Studios, no need to worry: Bioshock is still around.

In fact, for this weekend only, Steam is selling the Bioshock Triple Pack (1,2, and Infinite) for the total price of $14.99. That's about about 75% off the regular price! Bioshock 1 and 2 are sold separately for $6.59 each, and Infinite is $9.89.

If you're not familiar with the series, here's the lowdown:

  • The first two Bioshock games take place in an underwater city called Rapture, previously owned by a free market zealot, Andrew Ryan. Rapture is basically in ruins because of a drug called Adam, which basically alter's a persons DNA. With Plasmids, you can shoot fire, ice, wind, bees, and even control a Big Daddy, a large mutated man in a diving suit that protects a Little Sister, a little girl under the influence of the Adam.
  • Bioshock Infinite takes place a few decades before the first Bioshock in a sky city-state called Columbia. Columbia is basically a post-Confederate "utopia" in which all the non-white races are looked down on, and Abraham Lincoln is viewed as the devil, all under the watch of "Father" Comstock.

All these three critically acclaimed FPS games should not be missed. And at $14.99, it is a real bargain.
