Irrational Games and 2K Games announced a Season Pass on Thursday for "BioShock Infinite" due out on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The "BioShock Infinite" Season Pass will cost $19.99 (1600 MS Points) and provide access to three add-on packs that will "provide hours of additional gameplay and continue the player’s journey in the sky-city of Columbia with new stories, characters, abilities and weapons."
Those that pickup the Season Pass will also be granted access to the Early Bird Package which includes comes with "four pieces of exclusive gear, a Machine Gun Damage Upgrade, a Pistol Damage Upgrade, a gold skin for both weapons and five Infusion bottles that allow players to increase their health, their shield durability or their ability to use Vigors by increasing the quantity of Salts they can carry."
Season Passes for games are old hat by now for this generation. However, it is interesting that 2K Games is offering for what will exclusively be single-player content. Ken Levine and Irrational Games scrapped multiplayer plans for "BioShock Infinite" a long time ago.
"BioShock Infinite" is scheduled to be released worldwide on March 26 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
