'Bioshock Infinite' getting season pass for DLC from Irrational Games

There's only a few weeks left until Irrational Games launches "BioShock Infinite", and fans of the series can finally breath easy. Those looking to pick up the game should take note, there's plenty of DLC planned and yes, there's now a season pass option.

Irrational Games made the announcement this morning that the season pass for "BioShock Infinite" would give players access to three upcoming DLC packs, at least three DLC packs anyway, there could be more after that.

The season pass is priced to move at $19.99 for Playstation 3 owners, and 1600 MS Points for Xbox 360 owners. Irrational Games says buying the season pass will save gamers around ten bucks, meaning that each DLC individually will be around $10.

Buying the season pass for the game also gets you the Early Bird Special Pack, which gives players a machine gun damage upgrade, pistol damage upgrade, gold skin for both weapons, four pieces of gear and five Infusion bottles. See, there's more then a few reasons to shell out the twenty bones.

"Bioshock Infinite" will launch for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on March 26, 2013.
