Bioshock 2 is set to release on February 9th in North America on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. If you're planning to purchase the PS3 version of the game, you'll be required to install a mandatory 5GB of game data to play the title. This doesn't differ at all from the first Bioshock, which also required a 5011MB installation for the PS3. The Xbox 360 version will have the optional HDD installation feature, but how much of a difference it will make on the game performance won't be known until it's properly tested.

same for me, as long as it helps with game performance installs don't bother me.
Nope, i'm not getting this on PS3 due to the install. it's not needed if the game has been made good for the PS3. IE, uncharted 2 was done as well as other games on the market without install needed.

im getting tired of these installs, but hey its a small price to pay for gaming perfection.
getting this for ps3 day one ill have to make some room cuz i only got a 40 giger
i dont care about the install still a first day purchase for me
